MIKE -
Since leaving the Parachute Regiment in 1991, he has
walked and climbed all over the UK whenever
he gets the opportunity. He has
walked many munros in Scotland in the winter to avoid the
midges,
the Lake District and of
course Wales.
Mike has also raced mountain bikes in the past but
tends to keep to walking now.
Organising the annual Mountain Trail Challenge has now
become a full time hobby for him with most
of the time taken up by
route planning and recognisance, liasing with the Mountain
Rescue, Police,
Marshals and a team of
enthusiast Supporters without whom the event would not be possible.

CAT -
A great believer in
keeping both an active mind and an active body.
She has done her fair
share of fund raising from charity runs, abseiling
down the
tallest building in London and mountain
challenges in Scotland.
She says...
" Some people don't know how lucky they are having the Brecons
Beacons mountains right near their doorstep!
Wales have some beautiful terrains, great for all levels of
walkers.
We have picked a great location to host the Mountain Trail
Challenge"
