VOLUNTEER MARSHAL

CONTACT US

Volunteer Marshal

Help us raise money for the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue.

If you would like to get involved with the event, but feel that the walk is not for you then you can volunteer as a marshal.

There are lots of different tasks you can do and you do not have to stay for the whole day!

Being a Marshal could involve one or more of the following: -

Manning Checkpoints

Manning Checkpoints (some of these will be tents but most can be done from a vehicle).

Back-marker / Sweeper

Being a “Back-marker” (Following the participants to make sure everyone arrives at the checkpoints).

Setting the Course

Helping to set up / strip down the course (mark up the route and set up the checkpoints etc.)

“Taxi Service”

Driving those that have “retired” back to the Start / Finish.

We will be greatly interested in any First Aid qualified people out there.

If you are reliable and

enjoy the
outdoor life and
